Room 4 stoked with blogs!

Hey Mr M here! We are totally psyched about blogging - it is a wicked atmosphere to be around. It is reall added a bit of life to our reading program... mean!

Life is very busy at the mo - athletics, reports, maths testing and our exciting inquiry topic - disasters! Yes. Life for a Fantastic 4 person is full on. Go, go, go! Tell me guys... what should we do more of in our class? All suggestions are welcome! Comment away...

Yay! Long weekend = recording!

I am a music freak. I am also a teacher but I am so very excited about this long-weekend because my band, Collapse, are recording! There is something really special about getting your music down on CD, it's like a poet writing down their poems or a painter painting a picture. It is a time for reflection, a time to say: "hey, that sounds awesome or nah that's stink".

It's a time to feel really proud of yourself at what you can accomplish as an individual and as part of a team.

I hope that the young people in my class can use this analogy to help them reflect on their own master pieces.
